I was online a while back and saw a funny story. The headline read “Woman Asks Attacker for 30 More Seconds To Dig Pepper Spray Out Of Bag.” It was a humor piece – on a satirical website, but the issue raised is very real. What would happen to you if you were suddenly confronted by a bad guy? Would you be prepared to defend yourself?
As the headline suggests, simply having a self-defense product isn’t enough. You must be ready to use it and nutralize a threat at a moment’s notice. An attacker isn’t going to give you time to fumble for a weapon in your pocket or purse. Your personal protection device should be discreet, easy to use and it must be at your fingertips when you really need it. Of course, you must also be familiar with the device and know how to deploy it both quickly and accurately.
When I was in school, we used to have semi-regular fire drills. The teachers told us where to go and what to do so we’d be prepared and remain calm in case a fire ever did break out. At work, we have regular fire extinguisher training and practice sessions. Having fire extinguishers isn’t enough; they must be accessible, and we must know how to use them in an emergency. The same should happen with our self defense tools. At http://EscapeUnharmed.com we offer a full line of non-lethal weapons for self-defense, including –
- Stun Guns: Small, Powerful, Light Weight, Rechargeable
- Pepper Spray: Blinding Heat! Disable Assailant for Up To 45 Minutes
- Mace: Safe and Effective – Incapacitates Attacker for up to 1 Hour
- Telescopic Steel Batons: Discreet, Effective, Low-Cost Self Defense Tool
- …and more
Many of our attack-ending devices are small enough to fit on a keychain and powerful enough to incapacitate even a large attacker, giving you a fighting chance to Escape Unharmed.
